Author Info...
Janet is a life-long observer of the world. Growing up on a dead-end street in Central New York provided her with many sights to relish from silvery spider webs glistening with early-morning dew to Mother Earth's fragrant gown of daisies, black-eyed Susans, Queen Anne's Lace and buttercups. Lying beneath azure skies, she loved to search for forms hidden within the white, puffy clouds that floated above.
She is the youngest of ten children born to an Irish lass and her groom, a man twelve years her senior. Playmates were rarely hard to find - time alone was precious. Youthful parenting offered many opportunities for joy, hope, wisdom and grace as well as times of disappointment and sorrow. Grandparenting now offers many of the same gifts and challenges
but from a distinctly different perspective.
Life in all its melodies offers a symphony of inspiration, that is where her stories bloom. Interest in history is a passion that has developed with age; fiction is her creative playground. Blending the two is a fusion of fervor and pure joy.
An alumna of Syracuse University, Janet is an ardent Orangemen fan. She has been published in several anthologies, newspapers in both New York and Florida as well as an international magazine entitled Thyme for the Soul. She is a member of the Historical Novel Society and the Space Coast Writers Guide. Janet was recognized in Florida Today for the publication of Swift Currents of Change in 2014.
Swift Currents of Change is her maiden voyage into the world of literature.
It's sequel, From Thence Shall Come, is currently gurgling forth from her pen.
